SUMMARY
REMOTE PT XERO BOOKKEEPER NEEDED FOR AN ALL VIRTUAL OUTSOURCED ACCOUNTING AND BOOKKEEPING SERVICE TO HELP THIS SMALL FIRM GROW. ROLE REQUIRES EXPERT LEVEL XERO KNOWLEDGE TO DO BOOKKEEPING WORKING FOR SMALL BUSINESS CLIENTS.
REMOTE PT XERO BOOKKEEPER will perform bookkeeping for multiple clients, in a fully cloud-based, paperless environment. You will work with a diverse group of businesses, communicating regularly with clients, and delivering high quality bookkeeping services! NOTE: The client is an Xero firm that rarely uses QuickBooks Online. Able to work 20-30 hours per week; W-2.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Manage the daily bookkeeping and accounting tasks for multiple clients
- Daily AP, AR, Payroll, bank reconciliations, adjusting journal entries
- Prepare financial statements as needed
- Complete and manage various accounting related projects for multiple clients.
- Regular communication with clients to review their financial and accounting activities; skilled at developing strong long-lasting relationships.
- Flexible Schedule but must be available as needed from 9 to 4 Eastern Time, for clients and team meetings.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years working in public accounting or bookkeeping firm
- Accounting and bookkeeping experience REQUIRED.
- A Master at Xero and general knowledge of QuickBooks; Xero Certified Adviser a plus
- Personable, hardworking
- Ability to multitask to manage multiple clients simultaneously.
- Solid understanding of debit and credits a must.
- Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills.
- Success in a virtual environment
- A dedicated, secure, home office workspace, duel monitors
- Have a strong, consistent internet connection.
- Ability to manage deadlines of various client accounts.
- Enjoys working and communicating directly with clients.
- Excellent verbal, written, and video communication skills.
- Proactively communicates with each client, client advisor, and tax team.
- Self-starter – able to identify work that needs to be done and do it without being instructed to do so.
- Ability to work independently, be self-directed, and motivated.
- High degree of confidentiality.
- Proficiency with technology including Microsoft suite, Gmail, zoom, Xero, QuickBooks, Dropbox, Karbon, Bill.com, Receipt-Ban, Hubdoc, Gusto, ADP, Paychex, Asana, Payroll Relief, Practice Ignition are all pluses. Must have the ability to quickly learn new platforms.
