COLLECTIONS VIOLATIONS DEPT. FOR HCTRA (VEC)

$15.75/HR.  |  LOCKWOOD & HARRISBURG

5-DAY WORK WEEKDAYS INCLUDING SATURDAY OR 8-HOUR SHIFTS STARTING BETWEEN 7:30 A.M. AND 9:45 A.M.

If you enjoy assisting others, you will enjoy this inbound VEC Vehicle Collections Call Center Representative position with Harris County Toll Road Authority. This role assists EZ Tag toll customers with payments regarding their overdue accounts. We seek candidates with de-escalation, negotiation, collection, or banking experience. In this role, you will be in contact with toll customers regarding late payments. The Harris County Toll Road Authority improves mobility in the Greater Houston Metropolitan area through excellence in the operation of urban toll highway systems while upholding a commitment to leadership, public service, and quality of life.

COLLECTIONS CALL CENTER’S RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Place/answer phone calls regarding EZ Tag account
• Provide an excellent customer experience
• Provide payment plans and resolutions on past-due accounts
• Enter data efficiently

COLLECTIONS CALL CENTER’S QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School or GED Equivalent
• Math skills – assessment administered
• Ability to handle a high volume of incoming calls and billing inquiries using your bilingual skills
• Microsoft Office, strong typing skills 40 WPM
• Must be detail-oriented and have superior communication skills
• Must pass a drug screen and criminal background check
• Experience with de-escalation, negotiation, collection or banking is needed
