    Job Summary:
    We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Restorative Nursing Assistant (RNA) to join our healthcare team. The RNA plays a vital role in assisting residents in maintaining their independence through personalized restorative care plans. This role combines the skills of a nursing assistant with additional expertise in rehabilitation and restorative practices to enhance the quality of life for residents.

    Key Responsibilities:

    - Provide individualized restorative care to residents under the supervision of licensed nursing staff.
    - Assist residents with activities of daily living while focusing on promoting independence and physical mobility.
    - Implement restorative interventions, including bed mobility, ambulation, range of motion exercises, and other therapeutic techniques.
    - Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop, implement, and evaluate personalized restorative care plans.
    - Maintain accurate documentation of residents' progress and communicate any changes or concerns to the nursing and rehabilitation teams promptly.
    - Ensure safety and comfort of residents during restorative activities by following best practices and protocols.
    - Support and educate residents and their families about the importance of restorative techniques to improve overall quality of life.
    - Participate in ongoing training and development programs to stay updated with restorative care practices and protocols.

    Qualifications:

    - High school diploma or equivalent.
    - Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required; additional certification in restorative nursing is a plus.
    - Previous experience in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting preferred.
    - Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a genuine passion for caring for others.
    - Ability to follow guidelines and protocols accurately while demonstrating empathy and patience.
    - Physical ability to perform the necessary tasks, including lifting and supporting residents.

    Working Conditions:

    - Work is performed in a healthcare environment with direct patient contact.
    - Requires occasional lifting and extended periods of walking or standing.
    - May involve working shifts, including weekends and holidays, to meet resident care needs.
