NYC local 3 electrical contractor seeks Electrical Enginner for their growing business. MUST know REVIT 

Key Responsibilities

Design & Engineering

• Develop electrical system designs including:

  • Power distribution

  • Lighting systems

  • Fire alarm systems

  • Low-voltage systems

• Perform load calculations, voltage drop analysis, and short circuit studies

• Ensure designs comply with National Electrical Code and NY/local codes

Revit / BIM Modeling

• Create and manage detailed electrical models using Autodesk Revit

• Produce coordinated construction drawings (plans, one-lines, panel schedules)

• Collaborate with other trades (mechanical, plumbing, structural) for clash detection

• Maintain BIM standards and project templates

Coordination & Construction Support

• Work with field supervisors to resolve design issues during construction

• Review shop drawings and submittals

• Conduct site visits to verify installation and progress

• Support RFIs (Requests for Information) and change orders
