The REX Home Loans team is looking for an experienced Loan Processor to help grow our portfolio to be the best mortgage lender in the industry. This role will be responsible for accurately managing mortgage loan files (broker and non-delegated correspondent lending) for residential purchases and refinances. Additionally, this role will utilize Encompass and our internal systems to ensure we meet and comply with current banking regulations and policies. Customer service and communication skills are key since you will be the glue that binds all interested parties, from clients to underwriters.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Verify and analyze loan documentation including income, credit, appraisal, and title, while maintaining strict compliance with all applicable federal and state regulations
• Communicate directly with lenders and borrowers
• Take ownership of files from opening to closing
• Submit approved mortgage loan files to closing for settlement

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of 5 years mortgage loan processing experience
• Encompass knowledge is a plus, but not required
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Organization and follow up skills
• Ability to meet closing dates successfully
• Must be a self-motivated
• Excellent time management skills
