    Job Description

    JOB REQUIREMENTS (MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS) MAYBE FULL-TIME, PART-TIME, OR CONTRACTOR, MAYBE REMOTE

    • Must have MINIMUM OF 3 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN FPGA DESIGN AND HANDS-ON TEST AND DEBUG ON HARDWARE
    • BSEE or MSEE required. Fresh MSEE or Ph.D graduates will be considered IF YOU HAVE A STRONG ACADEMIC RECORD FROM A SCHOOL WITH A STRONG ASIC/FPGA DESIGN PROGRAM AND YOU HAD AT LEAST A SIX-MONTH OR LONGER ASIC OR FPGA INTERNSHIP IN INDUSTRY.
    • Extensive Verilog RTL design coding/simulation/verification experience for FPGAs
    • Extensive experience with and deep knowledge of FPGA design architecture optimization, IP integration and FPGA design methodologies
    • Master of FPGA tools, such as Xilinx Vivado, in setting up timing/physical constraints, debug probes, timing analysis and timing closure, and routing optimization
    • Extensive experience with hands-on hardware testing, hardware debugging and in-system testing of FPGA designs with FPGA tools and standard test equipment such oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers
    • Familiar with standard interface protocols such as I2C, SPI, AXI, DDR3/4 memory
    • Working knowledge and experience with embedded processors hardware and firmware design
    • Experience with high-speed interfaces such as USB, PCIe, 25Gb Ethernet, Aurora, JESD204B

    ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS (STRONGLY PREFERRED)

    • Familiar with wireless technologies such as LTE and 5G NR
    • Experience with FPGA design for signal processing and mathematical applications
    • Experience with C/C++ software coding for embedded and desktop/server applications
    • Extensive experience with hardware testing and issues such as BER, eye diagrams, equalization, PCB noise and signal integrity

    Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Internship. The positions are based in Irvine, CA but we will consider remote employees including international employees in other countries
