Job Description

DUTIES:

The Project Manager will report to the Director of Marketing Strategy and play a key role in managing consumer marketing projects and campaigns for TLC, with overall goal of increasing ratings and awareness, generating revenue and reinforcing the brand. Some key responsibilities include working closely with the Marketing Manager in the development and day to day maintenance of campaigns; nurture and build key partnerships; maintain and grow internal and external relationships that foster brand-building opportunities for key franchise series/programs.

RESPONSIBILITIES: • Manage aspects of consumer advertising creative and promotional development for TLC to build audience viewership and reinforce core brand attributes. • Lead on-air campaigns, drafting marketing briefs and working closely with the on-air producer counterpart. • Assist in devising and implementing marketing strategies. Contribute to off-air campaigns, partnerships and events to grow network awareness, support business plan goals and ratings and revenue goals, working closely with Marketing Manager. • Coordinate and collaborate effectively with cross-departments (i.e.: communications, domestic distribution, digital, and social) to share marketing's promotional priorities and align on tactics. • Assist in creative development, managing timelines, and routing/trafficking assets for approvals and delivery to ensure successful campaign execution. • Support Marketing Manager in management of TLC's CSR initiative: Give a Little. Identify ways to grow the campaigns each year. • Oversee and manage the develop of TLC premiums.
