ABOUT YOU

The HUMAN RESOURCES BUSINESS PARTNER is the main point of contact covering employee relations, talent acquisition, development for our Sales and Service teams. You are highly organized and have the dedication to consistently deliver a high-level of customer support to your internal clients. You have strong interpersonal skills and can build professional relationships that are based on respect and performance. Whilst not immediately required, you will be comfortable to travel up to 25% of your time to customer sites across North America. This is a PERMANENTLY REMOTE role.

IN ADDITION, YOU HAVE:

• BA in Human Resources Management or related business program
• Accredited certification, i.e. SHRM-CP, SHRM-CP, considered in lieu of college degree
• 5+ years of HRBP experience
• High proficiency with HRIS & payroll systems, Ceridian & SuccessFactors experience preferred
• Ability to interact with staff, partners, and the general public with a calm and professional demeanor
• Attention to detail on instructions from team members or partners
• Project Management experience to collaborate with members of our global HR team
• Thorough knowledge of US & Canadian labor laws and employee relations required
• Spanish fluency advantageous

ABOUT THE JOB:

• Talent acquisition: add a creative spin to our recruiting as well as provide hands-on screening, interviewing, orienting and benefits eligibility supporting local talent management, cultural engagement activities and on-boarding new team members.
• Employee relations: support Managers to assess the organizational health of their teams; helps anticipate issues and provide proactive solutions; helps the business resolve conflicts in the team; and applies people management programs or policies to help these leaders effectively manage their teams.
• HR policies: has a strong understanding of employee handbook, policy documents, benefits programs, and how each of these programs intersect or run parallel to each other in the full employee life cycle.
• Our ideal candidate will have a collaborative approach to working through challenges, educating our workforce, building strong relationships across our team.
• Communication: Partner with leaders across multiple States across North America, being mindful of cultural requirements
• Performance Management: execute our annual People Cycle.
• Project Management: partner with global HR colleagues to develop and deliver HR systems and initiatives.
• Coaching: supporting the management team in understanding their role in the HR transactions and processes; and continually updating and communicating clearly to the impacted employee his/her responsibilities under these programs.
