    Position Title: RIM Consultant

    Location: Washington, DC (Hybrid – Minimum 50% On-Site Required)

    Clearance: Due to the nature of this government contract, U.S. Citizenship is required. Must be able to obtain a Public Trust.

    NEOSTEK, Inc. is seeking a RIM Consultant SME to support a federal government contract focused on modernizing and automating records and information management systems. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Records and Information Management, particularly in implementing Microsoft Purview/Records Management solutions. This role involves strategic consulting, program assessments, and policy development to enhance electronic records management (ERM) capabilities and ensure compliance with federal regulations.

    Responsibilities:

    Consult with the client on strategic improvements to RIM programs, conduct comprehensive assessments, and provide actionable optimization recommendations.

    Implements successful strategies for enhancing records classification, retention policies, and overall program efficiency.

    Develops and implements records management policies aligned with regulations, industry standards, and the client’s needs.

    Educates stakeholders on the importance of effective RIM practices and their impact on the client’s efficiency and compliance.

    Other duties as assigned.

    Requirements:

    Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems (MIS), or a closely related field.

    Minimum of 7 years of RIM consulting experience, with a strong focus on implementing Microsoft Purview/Records Management solutions.

    Proven track record of developing and executing RIM strategies in complex organizational environments.

    Deep understanding of federal records management regulations (e.g., NARA, OMB, FOIA).

    Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

    Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

    Must be available to work on-site in Washington, DC at least 50% of the time.

    Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

    U.S. Citizenship is required due to the nature of the government contract.

    Preferred (Not Required):

    Experience working with federal agencies or in public sector environments.

    Certifications such as CRM (Certified Records Manager) or IGP (Information Governance Professional).

    Familiarity with additional Microsoft 365 compliance tools and data governance frameworks.
