Job Description
Our client, a major membership-based organization, seeks a Business Process Analyst for a 6-month contract position in Washington, DC. The Business Process Analyst will assist in assessing an internal online documents system for use by another department.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify and document the department’s current processes for submitting documents for review and publication
- Assess the online system’s ability to support the current processes
- Identify modifications needed to the system to fully support the department’s processes
- Define and document the new business processes utilizing the online documents system
- Assist in developing a project plan and budget to implement the needed system modifications
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of Business Process Analysis and re-engineering
- Experience developing job aids and tools
- Experience writing business requirements for new or enhanced computer systems
- Experience managing projects and budgets
- Self-starter, proactive, takes initiative
- Consulting background preferred
- Strong communication skills
