RMI is seeking experienced Associates (entry and mid-level research and collaboration positions) to support the India Program.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Since 2016, RMI has been working with the public and private sectors to build confidence and further commitment towards India’s clean energy and mobility targets. RMI has become a recognized brand and thought leader in integrated clean energy and mobility solutions in India. Our ongoing work includes national level policy support and technical assistance and deployment of regional pilots and implementation projects. Senior-level partnerships with government, private sector, and civil society organizations compliment and leverage RMI’s impact.
POSITION OVERVIEW
As an Associate, you are a creative problem solver who uses your quantitative, technical and analytical abilities to conduct compelling research and assessment around vital energy issues. You will collaborate with team members to craft visionary yet practical solutions for our research questions and clients. We expect self-motivation, curiosity, creativity, the ability to drive oneself and others toward meaningful results, a passion for the clean energy transition, and interest in international work.
As an RMI Associate, you will be an independent contributor and work closely with colleagues on projects under the direction of more senior staff. You will develop expertise in the content area of your specific program within RMI and can provide support internal to RMI on that topic.

LOCATION
The position will remain remote through the COVID-19 pandemic. Once the COVID-19 situation improves, it is expected that this role will be located at one of our U.S. office locations, with a strong preference for Colorado (Basalt or Boulder). This will be discussed further throughout the interview process.
IMPORTANT NOTE: As a U.S. federal contractor, RMI must comply with requirements outlined Executive Order Ensuring Adequate COVID Safety Protocols for Federal Contractors. This Executive Order requires that all federal contractors and subcontractors mandate and verify that all U.S. based employees are fully vaccinated against COVID-19. COMPENSATION
The starting salary range for you as an Associate would be $70,000 - $82,000. Salary to be determined by your education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
You would also have an additional 5% annual bonus target!
