    Job Description

    SUMMARY: This position is for a Customer Service Representative in our Portland, OR office. An RMLS Customer Service Representative provides assistance to callers and walk-ins with their memberships, manages lockbox and key issues, and handles any other service needed by current or prospective subscribers.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Perform general office functions, such as sorting and delivering mail / incoming faxes, and handling digital filing
    • Answer multi-line phone and respond to phone call inquiries
    • Perform all activities necessary to signing up new offices and subscribers, enter information into databases, train on the lockbox system, and explain membership benefits
    • Handle office and membership changes including terminations, reinstatements, and transfers
    • Receive and accurately record payments for membership services, invoice items, and maintain accurate logs for the accounting department
    • Perform all activities related to the lockbox system, including stocking, selling used and new lockboxes, diagnosing problems, producing activity reports, and assisting with audits
    • Provide backup for HUD monitoring and listing input as needed
    • Schedule classes for subscriber training
    • Perform other duties as needed

    SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Accurate typing skills
    • Experience with computer data entry and multi-line phone systems
    • Excellent telephone manners and customer service skills
    • Ability to organize and document work
    • Willingness and ability to learn specialized computer systems
    • Basic accounting, cash handling, and reconciliation experience
    • Experience with CRM / data entry systems
    • Previous customer service experience is a plus!
