Registered Nurse (RN) – Night Shift (5:00 PM – 5:30 AM)

A medical based company is looking to fill a night shift RN contract role in:
\- Location: Bloomfield, NM 87413
\- Pay: $38.50 per hour
\- Schedule: Full-Time / 36hr/week | 3 12 hour shifts

\- Contract: 05/29/25 to 08/03/25

Job description:

As a Registered Nurse (RN) working in Bloomfield, NM, you will provide patient-centered nursing care in a collaborative and supportive environment. Working closely with interdisciplinary teams, you will help drive positive clinical outcomes and enhance patient and family satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed nursing assessments and monitor patient progress.

• Develop and update individualized care plans based on clinical findings.

• Prioritize patient needs to ensure safe, effective, and efficient care delivery.

• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and protocols.

• Maintain accurate medication records and documentation.

• Perform drug counts and ensure safe storage and handling of medications.

• Supervise LPNs and CNAs, assigning tasks based on patient needs and staff capabilities.

• Collaborate with physicians, care teams, patients, and families.

• Document care activities clearly and participate in shift handoffs.

• Follow all state, federal, and organizational regulations (including HIPAA).

• Support quality improvement efforts and attend required training sessions.

• Report any safety or compliance concerns promptly.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.

• Active RN license in the state of NM.

• Current CPR/BLS certification required.

• Experience in long-term care, geriatrics, or rehabilitation nursing is preferred.

• Proficiency in English (written and spoken) required.

• Must meet TB testing and health clearance requirements as per state law.
