Position Overview
We are seeking experienced and motivated Clinical Nurse Coordinators (CNCs) to join units across Med-Surg, Med-Surg Ortho/Trauma, NICU, and Inpatient Oncology. As a CNC, you will play a key leadership role by overseeing unit operations, supporting staff, and ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care during your assigned shift.
This role is ideal for RNs looking to step into or advance in nursing leadership within a supportive and growth-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and supervise admissions, transfers, and discharges to maintain efficient patient flow.
Partner with nursing leadership to evaluate and improve the quality of care delivered on the unit.
Foster teamwork and assist staff to promote strong patient outcomes.
Support staff scheduling , daily assignments, and labor management.
Oversee inventory management , supplies, and equipment readiness.
Provide input on staffing needs, employee training, and performance evaluations.
Qualifications
2+ years of acute care clinical experience , including prior leadership or charge nurse responsibilities.
BLS & ACLS required within 30 days of hire.
Education: RN Diploma or ADN (BSN strongly preferred).
Active RN license (Missouri or Multistate Compact).
