Position Title: RN, Correctional Medicine Position Type: Contract Facility Location: Cleveland, OH 44113 Duration: 13 weeks (Possible extension) Shift: 72 hours bi-weekly; Day shift: 6:45am-7:15pm including every other weekend and rotating holidays. No exceptions. Will not adjust shift to accommodate traveler's availability.

Minimum Years of Experience: 1 year

Compensation Details: Gross Hourly Pay Rate: $50/hr -$55/hr

Job Description: Registered Nurse, Correctional Medicine

Summary of Responsibilities: Plans for, delivers documents, and evaluations nursing care of patients in correctional health care in terms of their individual needs, according to provider's orders and in conformance with approved and recognized nursing standards of care, recognized nursing techniques, procedures, and administrative policies. Facility houses 1,300-2,000 inmates/patients.

Mandatory qualifications:

Licensed Registered Nurse

Active BLS from the American Heart Association ONLY

Preferred Qualifications:

One year of clinical experience in nursing.

Required Licenses/Certifications:

Active Ohio RN license in the State of Ohio ONLY

Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association ONLY

Work Environment/Physical Requirements:

Correctional healthcare setting.

Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time.

Ability to lift 250-300 pounds with assistance.

Ability to push/pull up to 500 pounds with assistance.
