Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with specialized Neuro Intensive Care Unit experience to join a dynamic team at a premier healthcare facility in Syracuse. This role is critical in providing high-acuity care to neurology and neurosurgery patients in a Level 1 Trauma Center environment.

Qualifications:
- Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Licensure: Current New York State RN License. Current BLS Certification.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent acute care hospital experience. At least 1 year of specific Neuro ICU experience. Experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center is strongly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Prior experience with EPIC Electronic Medical Records is preferred.
- Soft Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to critically ill neurological and neurosurgical patients.
- Monitor and interpret complex patient data, including neurological assessments.
- Operate specialized ICU equipment.
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team including physicians, therapists, and other nurses.
- Administer medications, implement treatment plans, and provide patient/family education.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system.
