Cedar Park Med is seeking experienced Critical Care RNs to support multiple high-acuity units including Adult ICU, Neuro ICU, Cardiac/Trauma Surgical Step Down, PACU, PICU, Endoscopy, and Interventional/Diagnostic Radiology. This is an excellent opportunity for nurses who thrive in fast-paced environments and want to expand their critical care experience across diverse specialty areas.

Hiring for both local and traveler positions! Only candidates outside a 50-mile radius qualify for traveler roles. Rates vary based on experience and whether the position is local or traveler.

Schedule : 13 week contract. All shifts available. 8hr or 12hr shifts. Every other weekend and some holidays

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct, high-quality patient care in Level 1 and Level 2 trauma facilities
• Perform nursing assessments, monitor patient status, and implement treatment/care plans
• Assist with procedures in PACU, Endoscopy, Radiology (CT, MRI), and Interventional Radiology as needed
• Administer medications, IVs, foleys, and sedation per physician orders
• Deliver safe pre- and post-procedure recovery care
• Document care accurately in EPIC EMR (preferred)
• Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes
• Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills with patients and families

Requirements:

• Current New York State RN license
• BLS certification (required; must be maintained)
• ACLS and PALS certifications (for PICU/IR/Radiology/Endoscopy roles)
• Minimum 1.5–3 years recent acute care experience in Level 1 or 2 trauma facilities (unit-specific experience required for PACU, PICU, Endoscopy, Radiology)
• EPIC EMR experience strongly preferre
