    Location: Washington, DC, 

    Salary: $39.00 – $48.00/hour (commensurate with experience & licensure) + Shift Differentials


    Life Plan Community with Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Support neighborhoods

    Positions Available: 2 Full-Time (1 Day Shift, 1 Evening Shift)
    Shifts: Day (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM) or Evening (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM)
    Shuttle: Free roundtrip from Ft. Totten & Friendship Heights Metro stations

    Position Summary & Responsibilities

    As an RN, you will direct and deliver nursing care across the Health Center, Assisted Living, and Memory Support units. You’ll supervise clinical staff, ensure compliance with care plans and safety protocols, and serve as a vital link between residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team.

    • Provide direct resident care: treatments, medications, assessments

    • Complete purposeful rounds to monitor safety, infection control, and clinical status

    • Supervise and mentor LPNs and CNAs; act as charge nurse when needed

    • Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges with medical and ancillary departments

    • Respond to emergencies and initiate appropriate interventions

    • Document all care in EMR, review MARs for accuracy, and complete nursing reports

    • Enforce facility policies, procedures, and regulatory standards

    • Foster a welcoming, respectful environment for residents, families, and staff

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN preferred) or equivalent experience

    • Active RN license in Washington, DC

    • Current BLS certification

    • Excellent communication, leadership, and critical-thinking skills

    • Proficiency with electronic medical records and paging systems
