Job Title: RN – Emergency Room

Job Description:

The Emergency Room Registered Nurse provides fast, high-quality care to patients experiencing urgent and critical health issues. The RN assesses, stabilizes, and treats patients while collaborating with physicians and the healthcare team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Perform rapid assessments and triage of patients.

Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as ordered.

Monitor patient condition and respond to emergencies promptly.

Assist with procedures and support physicians in the ER.

Document all care accurately according to hospital policies.

Educate patients and families on treatment plans and follow-up care.

Maintain safety, infection control, and emergency protocols at all times.

Requirements:

Active RN license in the state of assignment.

ER or acute care experience preferred.

Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Strong critical-thinking, communication, and crisis-management skills.
