    Role Description Executive Home Care is seeking a part-time, per diem RN Home Care Director of Nursing for our location in Passaic County, NJ. The RN Director of Nursing will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the quality of our client's care, as well as recruiting, onboarding and providing support to a team of home health aides. This is a hybrid role, where the individual will be expected to work from home with the responsibility to drive to client homes as well. The majority of your time will be spent traveling to and from clients homes to do initial assessments and 60 day supervisions. You will only be expected to come into the office for specific trainings or to help with onboarding new employees. This is a very flexible position, and you make your own schedule. The RN Home Care Director of Nursing is expected to utilize their experience and knowledge to provide the best possible care for our clients and ensure that we are in alignment with our caregivers and the specific needs of our clientele.

    Qualifications

    A registered nurse (RN) with a current license to practice as an RN in the state of New Jersey

    A minimum of two years of experience in home health care, long-term care, or a related medical field

    Strong organizational and leadership skills, with a team-player mentality that emphasizes collaboration and support

    Ability to work independently and make clinical assessments and decisions

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, their families, and a team of home health aides

    Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite or related software applications

    A valid driver's license, reliable transportation and the ability to travel locally
