ICU RN
Shift: 12-hour days (7a–7p), 36 hrs/week guaranteed
Schedule: 2 weekends per 4 weeks; 2 of 3 major holidays
Unit: 20-bed ICU, Trauma Level II | Ratios 1:2
EMR: Cerner | Scrubs: Navy
Requirements
BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (CCRN preferred)
Strong IV skills; comfortable with vents & ABCDE bundle
Tele: GE (must interpret own strips)
Floating
Required to Tele & Med-Surg (travelers first to float; up to 4–5 pts)
May care for boarded ICU patients in ED
Patient Types
Sepsis, DKA, COPD, GI bleeds, CVA, post-op ICU, cardiac (PCI)
Drips: Versed, Propofol, Norepinephrine
