  • Responsibilities

    We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Interventional Radiology team. This role involves working closely with radiologists to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is a compassionate and detail-oriented professional with strong critical thinking skills.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Deliver exceptional patient care in accordance with nursing standards and regulations.
    • Conduct ongoing patient assessments and implement individualized care plans.
    • Support interventional radiology procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
    • Act as a team leader in emergency situations, demonstrating composure and expertise.
    • Assist with training and mentoring new staff members as needed.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Graduate of an accredited nursing diploma program.
    • Active RN license in Arizona or a compact state.
    • Current BLS (CPR) and ACLS certification.
    • Minimum 2 years of RN experience or equivalent patient care experience.
    • Ability to complete an orientation checklist, including:
      • Charge RN role
      • IR Clinic/Consult and follow-up
      • Primary Call RN
      • Code leader responsibilities

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • BSN degree preferred.
    • Previous experience in interventional radiology, CCU, ICU, or ED.
    • Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) training every two years.
    • Basic EKG competency upon hire.

    Physical & Work Requirements:

    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate effectively.
    • Capable of lifting equipment up to 50 lbs. and pushing up to 150 lbs.
    • Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods during shifts.
    • Comfortable caring for patients with infectious diseases.
