We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Interventional Radiology team. This role involves working closely with radiologists to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is a compassionate and detail-oriented professional with strong critical thinking skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional patient care in accordance with nursing standards and regulations.
- Conduct ongoing patient assessments and implement individualized care plans.
- Support interventional radiology procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Act as a team leader in emergency situations, demonstrating composure and expertise.
- Assist with training and mentoring new staff members as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing diploma program.
- Active RN license in Arizona or a compact state.
- Current BLS (CPR) and ACLS certification.
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience or equivalent patient care experience.
- Ability to complete an orientation checklist, including:
- Charge RN role
- IR Clinic/Consult and follow-up
- Primary Call RN
- Code leader responsibilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- BSN degree preferred.
- Previous experience in interventional radiology, CCU, ICU, or ED.
- Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) training every two years.
- Basic EKG competency upon hire.
Physical & Work Requirements:
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate effectively.
- Capable of lifting equipment up to 50 lbs. and pushing up to 150 lbs.
- Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods during shifts.
- Comfortable caring for patients with infectious diseases.
