About the Role:

Veracity Ventures Inc. is seeking a compassionate and skilled RN Labor and Delivery to join our dedicated team in Silver Spring, MD. Responsibilities:

Monitor and assess antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients throughout the labor and delivery process

Administer medications, IV fluids, and oxytocin per physician orders and established protocols

Perform continuous fetal monitoring and interpret electronic fetal monitor (EFM) strips

Assist physicians and midwives during vaginal and cesarean section deliveries

Provide patient and family education on labor progression, pain management options, and newborn care

Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams including OB physicians, midwives, neonatologists, and anesthesiologists

Respond swiftly to obstetric emergencies including shoulder dystocia, postpartum hemorrhage, and fetal distress

Requirements:

Active RN license in the state of Maryland (or compact license eligibility)

Current BLS and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certifications required

Minimum 1-2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience preferred

Proficiency in electronic fetal monitoring (EFM) and obstetric nursing protocols

AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certification is a plus

Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills in high-acuity situations

Excellent communication, empathy, and patient-centered care approach
