Overview Our top-tier healthcare partner is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse II to join their Medical-Surgical/Telemetry team for night shift coverage. This position plays a vital role in delivering high-quality care and upholding the highest standards of nursing professionalism within a collaborative clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care including assessment, diagnosis, care planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Coordinate patient education, safety initiatives, and interdisciplinary care activities
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure effective time management
• Foster teamwork, leadership, and professional integrity
• Participate in professional development activities including charge nurse responsibilities, department initiatives, and committee involvement
• Complete unit-specific competencies and maintain an up-to-date professional portfolio
• Regularly assess and enhance patient/family satisfaction
• Contribute to peer review and educational initiatives such as posters or bulletin boards for staff and patients

Qualifications & Requirements

• Associate degree in Nursing (Diploma, ASN, or AND) required
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Current RN license or eligible for licensure in Virginia
• Commitment to completing mandatory annual competencies and unit-specific training
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
