We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing high-quality patient care, demonstrating excellent clinical skills, and maintaining a therapeutic environment. As an RN, you will play a crucial role in assessing patient needs, planning and implementing nursing care, and evaluating patient outcomes.
- Patient Care: Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients by assessing their health status, planning care interventions, administering medications, and performing procedures as ordered by physician staff.
- Assessment: Conduct thorough patient assessments (physical, mental, emotional) to identify health problems and develop individualized care plans based on patient needs.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to ensure coordinated, holistic care.
- Education: Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, medications, and self-care strategies to promote wellness and recovery.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in accordance with legal, regulatory, and institutional standards.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to medical emergencies, utilizing appropriate interventions and life-saving techniques.
- Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to safety protocols to enhance patient outcomes and facility standards.
- Supervision: Mentor and supervise nursing assistants and student nurses, fostering their professional development and integrating them into the care team.
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) is acceptable.
- Licensure: Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) required.
- Experience: Previous nursing experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred based on unit requirements.
