    Join our dedicated team as a Per Diem Registered Nurse (RN) in an OPWDD (Office for People With Developmental Disabilities) Group Home setting! We are seeking a compassionate and skilled RN to provide exceptional care and support to our residents with developmental disabilities. This position is a subbing position for a RN out on leave, starting Mid June, up to 4 months.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • - Experience with OPWDD requirments
    • Deliver high-quality nursing care and services to residents, ensuring their safety, health, and well-being.
    • - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including Manager, physicians, therapists, and social workers, to develop and implement individualized care plans.
    • - Administer medications and treatments according to prescribed protocols, maintaining accurate documentation.
    • - Monitor and assess residents' health status, identifying and addressing any changes in condition.
    • - Provide health education and support to residents and their families to promote understanding and compliance with medical recommendations.
    • - Participate in regular team meetings, sharing observations and insights to enhance the care and services provided.
    • - Uphold privacy and confidentiality standards in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
    • Qualifications:
    • - Valid and unrestricted RN license in the state of practice.
    • - Minimum of one year of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
    • - Strong clinical and assessment skills with a keen attention to detail.
    • - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
    • - Ability to adapt to changing situations and work independently when necessary.
    • - Commitment to delivering culturally competent and inclusive care.
