About the Role:

Better And Beyond Family Care in Cleveland, OH is looking for a passionate and experienced RN or LPN who is certified to teach STNA/CNA training courses. This is a rewarding opportunity to shape the next generation of healthcare professionals while making a lasting impact on the quality of care in our community. Responsibilities:

Deliver state-approved STNA/CNA training curriculum to students in a classroom and clinical setting

Develop and update lesson plans, course materials, and competency evaluations

Provide hands-on skills instruction and supervise clinical practice sessions

Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback to support learning outcomes

Ensure compliance with Ohio state regulations and certification requirements for STNA/CNA programs

Maintain accurate student records, attendance, and documentation for 80 hours training

Serve as a mentor and professional role model for aspiring nursing assistants

Requirements:

Active RN or LPN license in the state of Ohio

Current state certification to instruct STNA or CNA training programs

Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred

Strong knowledge of Ohio STNA/CNA curriculum standards and competency testing requirements

Excellent communication, presentation, and classroom management skills

Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to student success

Ability to pass a background check and meet all applicable state requirements
