PACU RN – Position Summary

• Facility: Ottumwa Regional Health Center (Ottumwa, IA)

• Unit: PACU (2nd Floor)

• Shift: 07:30–18:00 , 40 guaranteed hours/week

• Contract Length: 13 weeks

Role & Environment

• Post-Anesthesia Care Unit in a regional medical center

• Serves pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients

• Case volume: 30–35 cases

• EHR: Meditech

Requirements

• RN license

• BLS, ACLS, PALS

• 2+ years acute care experience

• C-Section experience required

Call & Scheduling

• Self-scheduling

• Call: 1 weekday weekly and 1 weekend every 3–4 weeks (varies by staffing)

Floating

• Minimal; may float as sitter to Med/Surg or assist with linen services after training
