🌟 Now Hiring: Registered Nurse – PACU (Washington, DC) 📍 Location: Washington, DC 🕐 Schedule: 4 x 10-hour shifts (Main OR & ASC) + On-Call Rotation 💲 Pay Range : $60 - $65/hour

Patient Centered Services is seeking an experienced PACU RN to join a dynamic surgical services team in Washington, DC. This role requires strong critical thinking skills and the ability to work independently in a Level I Trauma Center, caring for patients with complex needs.

Schedule:

4x10-hour shifts weekly, covering both the main OR and Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC)

On-Call:

Saturdays: 7 PM – 7 AM

Sundays: 7 AM – 7 PM and 7 PM – 7 AM

Key Responsibilities:

Provide preoperative and post-anesthesia care to patients across various surgical specialties

Deliver safe, compassionate care to patients recovering from anesthesia in a high-acuity environment

Monitor vital signs, assess recovery status, and respond quickly to patient needs

Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the perioperative team to ensure quality outcomes

Maintain compliance with hospital policies and safety standards

Requirements:

Current RN license in the District of Columbia (or compact state eligibility) – Required

Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved nursing program – Required

BSN – Highly Desired

Minimum 2 years ICU experience – Required

Recent PACU and Preop experience – Required

Must have Level I Trauma Center experience (SurgiCenter experience not sufficient)

Ability to think critically and work independently in complex clinical situations

Certifications:

BLS, ACLS, and PALS – Required

CPAN, TNCC, CCRN – Highly Desirable
