RN Pain Resource Nurse, Nursing Administration, Per diem, Days (Internal Candidates Only)
The RN Pain Resource Nurse is responsible for participating in the assessment, planning, organization, implementation and evaluation of education and clinical development of staff as related to pain management. Active involvement in end of life care staff education. Responsible for the development and update of hospital policies concerning pain management in accordance with The Joint Commission standards. Collaborate with the healthcare team in the development of new policies and order sets to ensure comprehensive nursing care for patients experiencing pain.

BSN Degree
MSN Degree preferred.
Current California RN License
Evidence of continuing education and self-development
Minimum three years clinical experience in acute care setting
Demonstrated teaching ability in formal and informal setting
Pain management nurse certification preferred
