Registered Nurse (RN) – OB/GYN (Postpartum/Mother Baby) Washington, DC Contract Position $75–$85 per hour 3x12 Night Shifts

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced OB/GYN Registered Nurse with strong Postpartum/Mother Baby experience to provide safe, competent nursing care in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. This RN will demonstrate professional leadership, support the healthcare team, and uphold Patient-Centered Care and Service Excellence standards at all times.

Required Qualifications

Current RN license to practice in Washington, DC – Required

BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications – Required

Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program – Required

Postpartum/Mother Baby experience – Required

Minimum 2 years of RN experience preferred

Key Responsibilities

Provide skilled nursing care to postpartum and mother-baby patients

Monitor and assess maternal and newborn health status

Support patient education related to recovery and newborn care

Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams

Deliver care aligned with Patient-Centered Care principles

Maintain Service Excellence in all patient and team interactions
