Barrier Islands Psychiatry, PA is seeking a Registered Nurse to become a part of our team! The RN performs a range of clinical and administrative duties to support clinical programming. The ideal candidate would possess a team-oriented work style with an emphasis on communication and service excellence.

Responsibilities:

Act as liaison between patients and providers to implement change orders in treatment, oversee patient education, and respond to adverse events

Supervise clinical programming and support program development:

Ensure REMS certification maintained for clinic/staff

Oversee SPRAVATO monitoring and manage standing orders for acute intervention

Ensure protocol adherence and documentation across clinical programming

Lead nursing assessments using COWS/IWA, and oversee medication protocols

Support staff training on documentation accuracy and escalation thresholds

Support local networking and outreach for clinical programming

Support facility infection control and environmental safety

Quality assurance audits (chart reviews, workflow errors, protocol compliance)

Support staff scheduling and stand in to support patient care as needed

Other duties as assigned within scope

​Qualifications:

Active RN licensure recognized the State of South Carolina required (ex. RN, BSN, MSN)

BLS/ACLS certification required

Experience in outpatient practice preferred

Familiarity with psychiatric programming preferred

Familiarity with clinical data, and shaping data into actionable outcomes preferred

Compensation commensurate with education and experience.
