    Job Details & Summary
    Reporting to the Associate Administrator, the Trauma Program Manager assists in the promotion of optimal care within Doctors Medical Center. Demonstrates professional competency in the nursing process, plans, develops, implements, and evaluates the care of critically injured patients. Responsibilities of this role include clinical practice, record maintenance of the trauma registry and its Quality Improvement reports, educational programs for all personnel involved in care of the trauma patient (both prevention and all phases of care) and monitors patient’s clinical progress during hospitalization. Responsible for day-to-day operations of the trauma services, actively participates in the staffing, budgetary, planning, leadership and quality improvement of the department.

     

    Position Qualifications: 
    Minimum Education: BSN preferred
    Minimum Experience/Skills: Three (3) to five (5) years Emergency or Critical Care experience preferred
    License/Certificates/Credentials:
    • Current: California RN license
    • BLS certification
    • ACLS certification
    • PALS certification
    • ENPC within 6 months of hire
    • TNCC within 6 months of hire (Instructor preferred).

     

    Physical Demands:
    • Prolonged, extensive or considerable sitting.
    • Lift/position up to 25 lbs.
    • Push/pull up to 25 lbs of force.
    • Reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching, manual dexterity and mobility, ability to move quickly.

     

    Vision Requirements: Ability to adjust vision sufficiently to perform position accountabilities

    Base Salary - USD $145,000 to $205,920 - *Individual wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience ***Calculated based on a full-time position
