We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide one-on-one private duty nursing for a pediatric patient in the home setting.
This position offers the opportunity to provide individualized, family-centered care while building a meaningful relationship with one patient. If you are passionate about pediatric nursing and enjoy working in a home health environment, we encourage you to apply.
We are currently looking to fill a patient's schedule in Dallas.
Schedule available:
Sunday to Thursday 8: 30 PM to 8: 30 AM
Monday to Wednesday 11: 30 AM to 6: 30 PM
Thursday 11: 30 AM to 2: 30 PM
Patient Care Responsibilities
Provide skilled nursing care according to physician orders and the individualized plan of care.
Perform ongoing patient assessments and monitor for changes in condition.
Administer medications as prescribed.
Monitor respiratory and neurological status.
Observe, document, and respond appropriately to seizure activity.
Implement physician-ordered treatments and interventions.
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary care team.
Educate and support family members regarding the patient's care plan.
Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant nursing documentation.
Follow agency policies, infection control standards, and all safety protocols.
Experience with one or more of the following is preferred:
Pediatric Home Health
Private Duty Nursing (PDN)
Medically Complex Pediatrics
Seizure Monitoring
Neurological Assessment
Respiratory Assessment
Family-Centered Care
Qualifications
Current Texas Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license
Minimum of one year of nursing experience preferred
Current BLS/CPR Certification
Reliable transportation
Excellent communication and assessment skills
