    Job Summary:

    A Supervisor will perform as an individual contributor or as team leader depending on size and scope of client engagements. They work under the supervision of the Director of Consulting Services, to develop work product, lead specific engagements and project initiatives, and act as a subject matter expert on ongoing client engagements. They are responsible for the day-to-day operations of client accounting departments and applying GAAP principles and procedures to review, prepare, reconcile, and analyze accounting records and financial reports. In this position, they will be responsible for providing superior and responsive professional services for clients. Exceptional communication skills and the ability to prioritize and organize duties are essential works with client company leadership to assess the company and identify problems, gather information, and implement solutions. They will learn about the client's business challenges and technologies to understand their business needs. For engagements they are individual contributors, they will assist in identifying client needs and work with the Director of Consulting Services on how best to serve the client. For engagements they are team leader, they will work directly with the client in identifying needs and creating scopes of work for additional services to be rendered.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • For engagements they are team leaders on, they will outline the scope of the work and identify and map out schedules, milestones, and required resources to meet the project objectives
    • Anticipate and communicate project risks
    • Manage work efforts to contract specifications
    • Develop quality work products(s) and documentation
    • Determine and communicate the work product or results that will be delivered to the client upon project completion
    • Provide respectful feedback to company management
    • Work tactfully to inspire faster adoption, greater utilization, and higher proficiency by employees regarding new ways of operating as a result of the consulting project outcomes
    • With the assistance of the Director of Consulting Services, they are responsible for preparation of advanced areas of all month-end close processes and preparation of the financial statements for all clients every month
    • Responsible for review and management of staff level and senior consultant level areas of month end close processes and preparation of the financial statements for assigned client engagements
    • Review Senior Consultant level and below work products as applicable
    • Manage small to mid-size clients and projects day to day accounting activities
    • Engage with clients and colleagues on technical accounting and control-related issues to provide research guidance and give recommendations for potential solutions
    • Assist in audit preparation by preparing reports and documentation material as required
    • Assist clients with developing and implementing accounting policies and procedures as directed
    • Contribute to client success by accomplishing special client projects and related results as needed

    Education/Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or a related field
    • 5+ years of accounting experience
    • CPA license preferred but not required
    • Construction experience is a must
    • Public accounting experience preferred but not required
    • Experience working with multi-client business
    • Experience in various industries
    • Experience in expanding, growth-oriented companies
    • Previous supervisory experience required
