Senior Accountant / Financial Analyst - Tewksbury, MA

We're in search of a precise and detail-focused individual to join our client as a Financial Accounting Analyst. This position, located in Tewksbury, MA, will be under the supervision of the division Controller and will encompass diverse accounting tasks, financial reporting, year-end audits, and offering insightful analysis to support strategic decision-making. Duties include overseeing monthly closing procedures, creating financial statements, scrutinizing expenses and variances compared to the budget, compiling sales reports, and preparing spontaneous presentations. Additionally, the role involves aiding daily accounting functions, assembling year-end reporting packages, and collaborating on tax filings.

The perfect candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience. Candidates should showcase a solid grasp of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and analysis methods. Strong multitasking, prioritization, and communication abilities are essential, alongside proficiency in various software applications, notably advanced Excel.
