ROARK has partnered with a rapidly growing food company and they are looking for a controller to help them continue on that path.

JOB OVERVIEW
- Ensure accuracy of month-end closing activities, including booking revenue, cost of goods sold, inventory, and reconciling purchase orders.
- Develop reports; prepare and analyze all financial statements and managerial reports.
- Lead the development of annual budgets, strategic plans and other financial forecasts.
- Manage cash flow, investments, and assets.
- Establish and implement short and long-term goals, objectives, policies, and procedures.
- Manage the Accounting and HR functions, including employee on-boarding, benefits, and 401K.
- Refine tools and systems to provide important financial information.
- Safeguard the assets of the company through ongoing improvement of internal controls.
- Coordinate proper filing of tax returns.
- Manage all insurance, real estate, and legal affairs.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Undergraduate degree.
- 5-7 years of experience in accounting.
- CPA preferred.
- Self-starter attitude with the ability to work with very little guidance and direction.
- Extremely confident in your abilities.
- Ability to adapt and think quickly on your feet.
- Superb verbal, written, and interpersonal skills, including outstanding persuasion and presentation skills, with the skill to communicate up and down an organization.
- Passion for data, analytics and insights.
