ROARK has partnered with a manufacturing company in Riverside, CA and we are looking for a Controller. If you are looking to be a part of a stable company and help them grow this is the position for you.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for financial reporting (Monthly, quarterly, and year end)
• Prepare standard and job specific labor rates
• Responsible for company’s transaction processing system and identifies process Improvements
• Oversee A/P and A/R.
• Oversee Payroll. It is entered by the HR dept. and done by outside payroll service. Not much to do.
• Prepare Sales & Use Tax Filings.
• Provide information to our accounting firm, (Eide Bailey), so EB can calculate estimated tax payments and do our tax return.
• Maintain Depreciation Schedule and do Business personal property tax.
• Prepare month end COGS entry and close the month.
• Provide payroll info and sales info to insurance companies for year-end audits.
• Upload check runs to bank website for positive pay confirmation.
• Create wire templates and enter low dollar wires.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
• 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing
• Strong analytical ability and understanding of data analytics concepts
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Solid decision-making skills including analysis, wisdom, experience, seeking input and judgement
