ROARK has partnered with a fast-growing manufacturing company in the Inland Empire who is looking for a Sr. Cost Accounting Analyst. Please see responsibilities and requirements below.
Responsibilities:
- Performing month-end cost accounting close
- Maintaining cost accounting system and cost ledger
- Monitoring unit cost variances
- Preparing cost of goods sold, inventory valuation, and production reports
- Reconciling beginning raw materials, work-in-progress and finished-goods stock
- Analyzing inventory valuations, including standard cost variance analysis
- Developing and implementing cost standards for materials, labor, and overhead
- Designing, implementing, maintaining cost accounting systems
- Analyzing production costs and recommending changes
- Reviewing new and modified BOM details for accuracy
- Overseeing annual physical inventory
- Other tasks as assigned
Educations/skills:
- NetSuite experience preferred, ERP system experience required
- CMA or CPA license preferred
- BS/BA degree in Accounting or related subject required
- Food manufacturing experience preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, advanced Excel skills a plus
