    Financial Analyst - Camarillo, CA

    We are seeking a detail oriented, hands-on professional who is a self-starter and problem-solver, possess strong excel skills in financial and operational modelling and analysis. The position will be involved in all aspects of financial reporting and analysis through budgeting, forecasting and ad hoc analysis, in addition to assisting the Sr. Financial Analyst, Vice President, Corporate Controller and the Chief Financial Officer further develop key metrics in the operation to establish stronger forecasting and modelling, globally.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Assist with and support the preparation of the monthly financial statements, report and analysis for Senior Management and the Board of Managers
    • Assist in the development of the annual budgeting process and monitor and analyze variances to plan and prior year performance
    • Maintain and improve department financial reporting tools and processes
    • Develop analysis of actual performance as compared to budgets, forecasts and historical trends for support of financial investment decisions
    • Develop strategic and analytical financial frameworks and conduct analysis on new initiatives across the company (e.g., operational efficiency, business development, financial, etc.) – trends for support of financial investment decisions
    • Develop and systematize standard business metrics for analyzing business performance and efficiency spanning Customer, Product and industry analytics, manufacturing, purchasing, distribution sales and marketing
    • Assist and support the development and monitoring of a strategic long-range plan (3 -5 years)
    • Support month-end close activities, as required

    EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred, or business related major. Candidates should have 2-3 years of experience in financial modelling, reporting, planning and budgeting
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Outstanding Excel skills
    • Must be able to work independently
    • Ability to develop timely deployment of accurate, consistent, user friendly management reporting, and analysis as needed to support the business
    • Effective communications skills including verbal / written communications and presentation skills
