JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a Robotics Software Engineer with experience developing and maintaining advanced robotics software systems, integrating cutting-edge technologies, and ensuring seamless operation across various platforms.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

Experience with multi-axis robotic systems or mobile manipulators.

Familiarity with real-time systems and safety-critical software development.

Contributions to open-source robotics projects or publications in motion planning.

Strong proficiency in C++ and Python, with experience in ROS 2 and motion planning libraries (e.g., OMPL, MoveIt2).

Solid understanding of kinematics, trajectory optimization, and collision avoidance.

Experience with robotic manipulators in industrial or research settings.

Excellent problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.

This is a contract assignment

No Travel, local to Warren, MI Must be able to work on-site at client's location 5 days per week

Local Candidates, must be able to start work quickly; no relocation is available

Previous Industrial Robotic experience, such as Fanuc, or ABB, or any other multi-axis robots, is a MUST

Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
