QUARTERMASTER
The Quartermaster role is critical in ensuring the success of our events. Reporting to the
Construction Lead, the Quartermaster will be responsible for maintaining an efficient control
process over our tools and equipment during the setup, show run and strike of the event,
following and communicating protocols to ensure our tools, hardware and equipment are properly
prepared and accounted for. Working closely with our leads they'll ensure tool, hardware and
equipment requirements are coordinated and available as per the installation schedule, monitoring
inventory levels and initiating restock as needed.
COMMITMENT: Dates may change based on location
● Must be prepared to work each day of the Load-in, Install, Run-of-Show, and Load-out.
● This includes the holiday season: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve
and New Years Day.
● Must commit to the entire production run from the pre-event to the load-out
WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR:
● Work with the Technical Site Manager and Construction Lead to coordinate the flow of tools and
supplies from the tool crib to and from the construction site
● Acquire, organize and distribute the necessary tools, hardware and equipment for the team
● Ensure all equipment and tools are functional and accessible when needed
● Work with the install team to coordinate the delivery of items as it pertains to the timeline of the
installation schedule
● Ensure that forecasts are made, and tool and hardware needs are prepped to prevent the need
for items that are not in stock
● Maintain a detailed inventory record of the tools and hardware in the tool crib
● Manage a sign in/out system for tool and equipment assignments
● Manage heavy equipment logs, charging, refueling and assignments
● Provide instruction to personnel on using equipment and supplies as needed
● Provide daily updates on any concerns for the day
● Examine inventory for damages or missing items
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM:
● The Quartermaster will have experience managing tools and hardware resources in the
Event/Entertainment and/or Festival industry
● Familiar with function of tools and equipment
● Site installation experience
● Proven coordination experience
● Proven ability to manage inventory and follow processes
● Highly detailed and organized
● Excellent verbal and written communication
● Basic computer literacy
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
● Our venues span over 100,000 square feet.
● Must be able to frequently walk and stand for long durations.
● Frequently operates machinery and/or power tools.
● Ability to move objects 40+ lbs.
● Enchant is an outdoor event, and subject to local winter weather. Must dress accordingly and be
prepared.
