LOADER
The loaders role is critical in ensuring the success of our events. Professionally and
safely assist fork ops and logistics lead load to unload trucks on site for proper
distribution to our building groups. Maintain the boneyard and unloading area
properly, while keeping the site neat and organized. Available for general moving
duties around the site. We will be prioritizing applicants that are available for both
load in and load out.
COMMITMENT: Dates may change based on location
● Must be prepared to work each day of the Load-in, Install, Run-of-Show, and Load-out.
● This includes the holiday season: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve
and New Years Day.
WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR:
● Attend Daily Standup to discuss the daily tasks and safety procedures
● Follow the procedure for acquiring tools and supplies
● Support your Team Lead in completing the assigned tasks
● Ensure all assets and structures are properly and safely installed
● Assist with any tasks and projects onsite such as logistics, construction, decor, signage,
and lighting
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM:
● 6+ months working in the entertainment industry or equivalent as a loader/stagehand
● Event industry experience as a loader or general labor
● A desire to work hard and learn new skills
● Ability to take direction and execute a task with minimal supervision
● Ability to be coached on approved best practices determined by the leadership and team
● A positive and enthusiastic attitude
● Fabrication & assembly experience is an asset
● Ability to use hand tools and power tools
● An understanding of fabrication tools and hardware
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
● Ability to move objects 40+ lbs.
● Occasionally ascends/descends up to 6ft.
● Our venues span over 100,000 square feet.
● Must be able to frequently walk and stand for long durations.
● Enchant is an outdoor event, and subject to local winter weather. Must dress accordingly and be
prepared.
CERTIFICATIONS:
● OSHA 10 certification (preferred)
