    Our client, a Fishers, IN, manufacturing organization providing world-class systems, processes, and services for the Pharmaceutical and Healthcare industry, is seeking to add a Senior Human Resources Manager to their team. This position is full-time and on-site five days per week and the candidate must live within commuting distance of Fishers, IN.  

    The Senior Human Resources Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of Human Resources for a new facility and will lead the development and implementation of HR polices and processes, drive local HR operations, and be a role model and coach in corporate culture for managers and stakeholders. The Senior Human Resources Manager will be responsible for the full recruitment cycle, employee relations, leave management, and enforcing company policies and practices in a manufacturing environment. In addition, the Senior Human Resources Manager will be responsible for supporting the initial hire and onboarding of approximately 100+ employees for a brand new manufacturing facility, therefore, a strong background in recruitment is required.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field. 
    • 8-10 years of previous HR Management experience. 
    • Experience in a 24/7 365 operation with three shifts.
    • Exceptional interpersonal and conflict resolution skills and clearly communicate across entire organization. 
    • Experience developing and implementing policies and procedures and employee handbook.
    • High volume recruiting experience in manufacturing, life sciences, operations, supply chain, warehouse, distribution and/or other high-volume industry. 
    • Willing to be flexible to navigate emergency situations that arise outside of normal business hours.
    • Strong knowledge of employment law.

    Preferred:

    • Experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
    • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP desired. 

    Responsibilities:

    • Partner with leaders to execute and develop the organization human resources and talent strategy with emphasis on attraction of candidates and retention. 
    • Manage the talent acquisition process including recruiting, interviewing and hiring of qualified job applicants at all levels. 
    • Provide support and guidance to leadership on complex and sensitive questions and issues, including conducting employee investigations and leading employee disciplinary and terminations meetings.
    • Lead the deployment and execution of performance management, training and development programs.
    • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommends best practices; create and develop an employee handbook.
    • Effectively lead Managers and their teams through the employee life cycle; provide coaching in people development and support Managers in problem solving and executing the HR strategy. 
    • Drives the consistent management of administration and payroll programs.
    • Define and manage the Human Resources budget, ensuring cost effectiveness and sustainable business growth. 
    • Report Workers’ Compensation injuries; partner with leader of Health, Safety and Environmental compliance to manage leave and accommodation requests.
    • Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
    • Manage, coach and develop staff of one Human Resources Generalist.
