    We are looking for multiple Accountants, with an active CPA, to support our clients in healthcare and finance.

    The Certified Public Accountant (CPA) supports prudent fiscal management through data analysis, interpretation, reporting, and modeling. The Certified Public Accountant performs monthly and/or ad hoc reporting and prepares proformas based on historical, comparative, and projection data. In addition, the Certified Public Accountant provides accurate analysis to support outcome and impact-based decision making. The Certified Public Accountant identifies, analyzes, and interprets trends or patterns in complex data sets with a high degree of accuracy.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assisting with financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting. Examining and attesting to the accuracy of financial statements.
    • Conducting audits and reviews to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
    • Advising individuals and businesses on tax planning strategies. Preparing and filing tax returns for individuals, corporations, and other entities. Ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.
    • Providing financial and business advice to clients. Assisting organizations in making informed business decisions by analyzing financial data.
    • Staying current with changes in accounting standards, tax laws, and regulations through ongoing professional development. Ensuring compliance with professional standards and regulatory requirements. Keeping abreast of changes in accounting and auditing standards.
    • Utilizing technology and data analytics to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of accounting and auditing processes.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field required.
    • Two plus years of relevant financial and operational analysis experience.
    • Healthcare experience preferred.
    • Experience in month end close.
    • Experience preparing and reviewing journal entries.
    • Experience reviewing the chart of accounts for variances and working with departments on variance explanations.
    • Experience preparing annual budget and reviewing monthly actual vs. budget results.
    • Strong skills in identifying, analyzing, and interpreting trends or patterns in complex data sets.
    • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products/applications; strong Microsoft Excel experience required; relational database and financial or operational modeling experience a plus.
    • Analytical experience working with complex data sets.
    • Ability to prioritize work and be self-driven in a fast-paced environment.
