    ROMCO Equipment Company is currently seeking a Proven, Self-Motivated Sales Professional for our South-Central Texas Region (San Antonio/Rio Grande Valley).

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Assist in delivery reporting and aftersales reports
    • Inspect customer machines and report
    • Deliver sold machine paperwork
    • Deliver and explain warranty documents
    • Create cases with OEM for product issues
    • Develop after sales relationship for Parts and Service
    • Dealer liaison fleet manager – Inspection/Conditions reporting for customer and ROMCO
    • Monitor and assist in Telematics for customer fleets
    • Create aftersales relationship as the Parts & Service expert for the customer
    • Quote and maintain Preventive Maintenance repairs and contracts
    • Advise and quote customer on needed repairs
    • Market and facilitate extended warranty sales
    • Market and facilitate attachment sales
    • Market and facilitate powertrain component sales
    • Market and quote machine re-life/re-power options

    SKILLS REQUIRED:

    • Demonstrated knowledge of the Equipment industry
    • Excellent selling, negotiating, and closing skills with the ability to build long term business relationships
    • Understands the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making
    • Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced, high volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
    • Exceptional attention to detail
    • Experience utilizing Salesforce, Microsoft Office and Excel skills
    • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
    • Ability to prioritize duties and exhibit initiative

    WORKING CONDITIONS AND ENVIRONMENT:

    Requirements are 15% office and 85% field based. Office hours are from 8:00am to 5:00pm with occasional needs outside standard business hours to accommodate meetings, training and projects. Travel is required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable people with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the Product Support Representative position

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • High School Diploma or GED required
    • Minimum 5-7 years in Construction/Equipment industry
    • Prior outside sales experience
    • Travel to all customers in assigned territories
    • Must have valid Texas Driver License
    • Must be able to complete a successful background, MVR, and Drug Screening
