Corporate Accounting Manager
Salary: DOE ~$110-125K plus bonus and benefits
Location: Tempe, AZ
Position Overview:
ROWLAND, LLC is excited to partner with a growing, highly entrepreneurial and innovative healthcare company backed by private equity in Tempe, AZ. The Manager will play a key role in internal reporting and work closely with numerous departments and the CFO to consolidate, analyze and report the company’s results to the Board of Directors. The ideal candidate will have an active CPA, with public accounting, technical accounting research, and some exposure to healthcare, medical or related industry experience.
Responsibilities:
Manage the internal reporting process, including preparation and review of the monthly reporting package and analysis for senior leadership, while working with their team to streamline process and improve content
Assess, communicate and implement any impactful changes to the firm’s regulatory needs to the relevant departments to ensure compliance and that they are correctly implemented.
Prepare and maintain the company’s capital calculations and ratios.
Assist with annual financial audits by coordinating with external auditors and other third parties
Research US GAAP accounting topics and prepare technical memo as needed
Utilize technical accounting skills to maintain and comply with all regulatory reporting requirements
Implement new reporting guidance into accounting processes and controls as needed
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
5+ years with Big 4, regional public accounting or F500 in leadership or supervisory role
CPA or CPA candidate actively in process of obtaining license
Positive attitude, passion for team building & development and takes a healthy pride in one's work while building relationships across the organization
Effective communication with peers and team to optimize the success of the department .
Creative problem-solver and critical thinker with strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy of financial reports.
