Position Summary:

In the Senior Corporate Tax Accountant role, you will be joining a close-knit corporate tax team and will be supported by a sharp, friendly, and collaborative Tax Director that has a wealth of Big 4 & F500 knowledge and experience. The Senior Tax Accountant will be involved in the day-to-day operations of the department and will focus on federal and state income returns, tax compliance (ASC 740), financial reporting, planning, and research.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with preparing tax filing for multiple entities, including federal & state returns

• Manage state income tax notices

• Analyze financial data to identify tax-saving opportunities and propose strategies.

• Assist in preparing ASC 740 tax accounts quarterly

• Assist in tax audits, planning and strategy development.

• Provide support with tax special projects on an ad-hoc basis.

• Maintain and update status trackers for all required tax deliverables and tax returns.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely filing of tax returns.

Qualifications:

• 3 to 5 years of public accounting and/or F500 corporate tax accounting

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field

• Masters in Tax or Accounting preferred

• Proficient with Microsoft Office and strong Excel skills.

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
