    Trucking & Logistics Company looking for a Part-Time Billing/Payroll Clerk with Customer Service Skills.

    Responsibilities and Duties

    • Audit all driver AND customer paperwork including BOL's, AWB's, and driver manifests for accuracy of pricing.
    • Study and learn all customer pricing, billing and contract terms
    • Coordinate with dispatch to resolve any delivery issues
    • Generate electronic or hard copy invoice
    • Scan invoice and BOL's to customers
    • Meet daily, weekly and monthly deadlines
    • Maintain efficient pace of workload to ensure all work is completed in time
    • Communicate with drivers and/or dispatch regarding orders or paperwork needed to complete the audit and billing process
    • Answer phones and take pick up and delivery orders
    • Coordinate with dispatch on orders to provide exceptional customer service on a daily basis
    • Ensure proper communication channels are adhered to in all facets of incoming and outgoing phone calls
    • Process credit card payments and post customer payments
    • Maintain neat and orderly filing system
    • Perform other duties and projects as assigned

    Qualifications and Skills

    • Prior billing, payroll and customer service experience or Accounting experience preferred
    • Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word& Excel
    • Maintain clear, accurate notes and follow up system for referencing pricing and guidelines
    • Math skills required
    • Accuracy is a MUST!
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Ability to work in a fast paced and deadline driven operations environment
    • Highly detail oriented & well organized
    • Excellent problem solving and follow up skills
    • Ability to maintain detailed notes for all guidelines in pricing, emailing, payroll, etc.
    • Multi-tasking, ability to prioritize and manage time effectively a MUST
    • Billing/Accounting/Bookkeeping: 1 year minimum
    • Possess excellent discretion and confidentiality abilities when handling sensitive information and proper protocol when communicating with all levels of personnel and customers

    Days & Hours

    • Part Time
    • Monday thru Friday
    • 8:00am to 2:00pm with options to stay longer if necessary.
