    RP Professional Services is hiring a Program Manager to oversee key client projects. Program management responsibilities include organizing programs and activities, (specifically in relation to people management) in accordance with the mission and goals of the organization with an emphasis on developing new programs to support strategic business development initiatives.

    The ideal candidate will possess progressive experience managing client relationships, preferably in the staffing or talent acquisition industry, as well as thorough knowledge of Project Management/Administrative best practices and People Management best practices. Prior experience with government contracting and/or government procurement is desirable. The position requires the application of seasoned judgment together with a broad knowledge and understanding of business systems, client relationship management skills and quality initiatives in large scale project environments.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Create and manage long-terms goals specific to the program.

    • Develop budget and operating plan for the program.

    • Develop and maintain an evaluation method to assess program strengths and identify areas of improvement.

    • Ensure goals are met in areas including customer satisfaction, quality, and team member performance.

    • Implement and manage changes and interventions to ensure program goals are achieved.

    • Meet with client stakeholders as appropriate to ensure ongoing communication and transparency with program issues and decisions.

    • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of program status throughout its lifecycle.

    • Analyze and mitigate program risks where appropriate.

    • Contribute to business development efforts as needed.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • A minimum of 5 years of progressive, professional work experience, preferably in client management or program/project management

    • Bachelors degree or higher from an accredited institution.

    • Prior experience overseeing or managing a team with at least 20 direct reports.

    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

    • PMP certification or the ability to obtain certification within 90 days.

    • Skilled in oral and written communication.

    • Strong organizational skills.
